So rather than saying something profound I'm just going to get straight into it - I'm customising the Harley this year.
I am going to turn the Panshov into my dream bike, it's going to be mega! So here are some pics of "before", and also some showing how far we got taking it apart last night (not very far).
We (my Dad and I) would have got further, but we spent most of the time cleaning up and creating shelf space to fill with all the parts!
Anyways the hardtail has arrived from America, so I will be attacking this with the angle grinder ASAP! Watch this space!!

Price Reduction
I've found a new manufacturer for my M8 bungs, who produce them for a lot less than before. So I have passed the saving onto yourselves, the consumer (lucky you!).
Individual M8 bungs are now only £3 each, and you can buy a set of 6 for £15. Bargain!
Go here to buy now - http://www.fabparts.co.uk/
Once I sell out of the M6 and M10 sizes, I will try my best to get similar reductions in price. You need to buy the ones I've got first tho!!!

Living the dream...
So I had a mad weekend with the bike. I spent all last week cleaning it up, for two (yes 2!!) photoshoots at the weekend.
Friday saw Dave Manning come and take pics of the bike for 100% biker mag, and Saturday my friend Kevin McGonnell did a photoshoot with a model and everything.
I don't have the 100%biker pics, but here is a selection of the shoot on Saturday...
And one cheesy-ass shot of me with a shit eating grin :)

Electrics Hassle Over!
Can't believe its been so long since I posted...
So the brief version is... I eventually got the magneto connected up, and it works great :) Its basically a one kick bike now, apart from when its been stood a long time when it takes 2 kicks... brilliant!
However I was still having electrical issues... batteries would just go dead on the bike, and not charge - very annoying! So basically I had a great running bike with no lights...
I have stripped just about everything back off the electrics on this bike - the ignition, the starter motor, kill switch, etc. So the only think left to replace was the Reg/Rec.
I found a five wire, three phase, 200W plus one from Rex's Speed Shop.
http://www.rexs-speedshop.com/
It also I suggested a battery eliminator, so I thought - why not?! Anyways, when the bits came I got to stripping out the old reg rec and I found this...
OH DEAR!!
So I replaced the reg rec, swapped the battery for the eliminator (which is basically a large capacitor), and fired the bike up. I instantly had bright gleaming lights ;D ;D ;D
Chuffed to bits, I couldnt believe how easy it was to fit the new parts, and not only that the new reg rec was identical size to the old one, so I didnt have to modify anything...!
And since I have removed the battery, the bike is lighter, and I can use the box to hide some tools ;D ;D
Something went well for once...!!! Should have done this years ago....
