.So I got my TIG hat on and welded up as much as possible, though the signs of welding this thing over and over were starting to show. One part I just had to chop out and patch up!
And there were lots of little holes that I have been chasing round. The difficulty I have is that even though I can clean the outer surface of the tank for welding, internally its still covered with sealant, so when I start welding the welds get contaminated and there isn't much I can do about it!
So I tried it with petrol and fuel was still seeping out of invisible holes.... so I think my next step is to try some sealant.
